How is the treatment performed?
The Surgeon or Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will use a very fine needle to injected into the skin in about 10 to 15 sites spaced about 1cm apart. Sometimes an iodine and starch test is used to locate the area where sweating is greatest. This treatment causes only mild discomfort and normally takes around 30 minutes.
